This is one of my favorite pictues from the drive down Spearfish Canyon.

My photography skills definately need work!

Lesson 4a - Flickr

I spent a lot of time just getting lost there! Way to much to look at and was overwhelmed with new windows opening, or having to register.. i hate passwords.. Why can't life just be simple. There is way to much technology to deal with! One of the things i thought would be neat was.. was the Blogger banner thing, but i had to sign up for it.. it was easy (remembering the login stuff won't be), and it sent it right to my blog.. now to figure out how to get it to the banner area... oh my.. ?????

What did you like or dislike about Flickr? I'll comment on this a little later after i've played there for a bit..

How do you think you may use this in your work or personal life?
For work pictures of events (such as Summer Reading Awards) could be posted with the link published in the newsletter.

For personal to share pictures with family and friends.

I'm running out of patience for this round. I plan to post some pictures there and had a thought of something else to do but forgot what that was! Oh yeah, maybe bring my camera tomorrow and take some pics of the staff at work.. or not at work, whichever applies! LOL

I sure hope someone is taking some pictures of what is happening downstairs. I noticed Mickelson Library has a lot of "work in progress" photos!

Lesson 3 - RSS

I can see how it would be beneficial to use RSS to keep the things you want to keep track of all in one place. Often i get on the computer and think i will check on something, but quickly forget what i was going to look for!

Lesson 1 & 2

I had viewed the lesson 1 video in July, but just couldn't get the umph to move forward. Yeah, you could say I'm the world's worst procrastinator and i usually have to 'get in the mood' to do something especially something that is a little "outside" my box. Right now i am just peeking around over the edge..

I think the hardest of the habits for me is 4 (confidence in myself) and 3 (view problems as challenges). I have to keep "the little engine that could" in the back of my mind more! I have to remind myself that a problem is just a bump in the road and invent a way around it. i think the confidence factor often prohibits me from taking on a challenge. Enough of this rambling.. lets get moving here!

I've read some blogs, but never posted on one until now.. shyness put aside... gulp.. here goes...
